Selfridges, Louis Vuitton & Yayoi Kusama

To celebrate the collaboration between global fashion brand Louis Vuitton and the illustrious Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, Selfridges London has launched an exciting UK exclusive and its largest store collaboration to date.

For the first time in history, Selfridges London will be devoting all 24 store windows to a single brand. The collaboration will continue in store, where Selfridges, Louis Vuitton & Yayoi Kusama have transformed the ever-changing concept store with Kusama’s signature giant pumpkins, setting the scene for a showcase of the collection.

Taking inspiration from Yayoi Kusama’s signature polka dots, Yuki was tasked with showcasing the collaboration and exclusive collection online in a campaign area of the Selfridges site. Optimised for iPad, Yuki created a beautifully designed area that captured the fun and playful nature of the artist and her work, using HTML5 compatible dot animations throughout the experience.

To help drive traffic to the campaign area, a Kusama inspired homage takeover was also designed for, linking the homepage and the campaign together.
