Selfridges Christmas 2012 Campaigns

As part of this year’s Selfridges store-wide festive theme, Not Your Usual Christmas, The Selfridges London Concept Store has been transformed into a gift shop with a difference. The campaign was brought to life by renowned photographer and filmmaker Bruce Weber with his beautiful images and short film and we’re pleased to have been asked to provide online creative to promote the launch.

The Concept Store showcases a hand-picked selection of the most extraordinary gifts around, banishing run-of-the-mill in favour of the alternative and the unexpected. With exclusive, hand-created items from established and emerging artists alike. The iconic work of Francis Bacon has been used for the very first time to create a lifestyle collection, including mounted prints, silk scarves and tote bags. The space is brimming with imaginative gift ideas and stocking fillers, from fully-functioning chalk board t-shirts to make-your-own snow globes. Not just for kids, adults are presented with plenty of tongue-in-cheek presents, from Ryan Gosling colouring books, Kate Moss paper dolls and the intriguing 50 Shades of Christmas range.

Yuki were approached to create online display banners and an eye-catching site skins for a number of sites.

The ‘Not your usual Christmas’ campaign was supported by a second set of banners for Selfridges Christmas Beauty. Photography by Matthew Shave, this campaign focused on cherry-picking the very best luxury products available at Selfridges, such as Robert Piquet Swarovski Encrusted Fragrances, Maison Martin Margiela Minature Fragrance Christmas Crackers and Guerlain 1.5 litre bottle of La Petite Robe Noire plus many more.
